Chicken Pillows

This is a great recipe to take a meal to a family

(1) 8 oz. crèam cheese softened
2 cans of chicken
¾ stick of butter
Progresso bread crumbs (Itallian style)
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cans of crescent rolls
Parmesian cheese

Drain chicken, break up and mix with cream cheese. Spoon onto crescent roll……pinch sides and roll up .
Put melted butter, some bread crumbs, and parmesian into bowl.
Dip the crescent roll w/cream cheese in butter mixture.
Put on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 10 to 12 minutes.

Mix chicken soup with ¾ of a can of milk. Heat and then spoon over the chicken pillows as a gravy.

I made these a little different than the recipe. Instead of dipping the crescent rolls in the butter/bread and cheese mixture I mixed it in with the chicken. It was really good. Once I put the gravy on I sprinkled them with the extra bread crumbs. I also used Italian stuffing mix because I couldn't find the bread crumbs. These are really good as little chicken salad like sandwiches once they've been refrigerated.
